Gulab or "Singh" as we have been calling him has been our driver for the past five days. Our time spent with him so far has been excellent. He is a very safe driver, especially by Indian standards, and is very knowledgeable of the best places to visit, hotels to stay at and places to eat. If you want to get a little off the tourist trail, he can also help with that. I would highly recommend using Gulab as a driver while you're visiting India.

Gulab is a nice guy and a great guide. He has directed us to tasty restaurants and interesting attractions. At one point, we ran out of money and he loaned us some until we could get to an ATM. What a guy!

  3. My husband and I felt really lucky to have had Gulab as our driver during our 7 day (September 29-October 6) tour of Rajasthan. We started in Delhi and drove to Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur - the last day he drove us to the airport at 5am. He was such a friendly, polite, and all around great guy. He is also a safe driver - which is important. Gulab also suggested some great places to eat - one of our favorites was in Udaipur called Rajwada Bites. In certain cities (Agra and Jaipur) a local guide accompanied us to show us around. We didn't pay extra for the guides - just gave some tip. If you have the chance to travel to India and want to tour Rajasthan, you should contact Gulab - he will take care of you!
